Although born in Arizona, Joe spent the majority of his youth moving from state to state while his father pursued a career as a pilot. He is the oldest of 8 children giving him a sincere love for big families. He helped raise and protect his younger siblings while his father spent many days away for work. Joe met his beautiful wife Samantha in 2010, married in 2012, and together they hold a strong devotion to family. Within a year of their marriage they welcomed their first baby boy, Roman. Over the course of the next 10 years they were blessed with four more beautiful girls, Vivienne, Isla, Evalee, and baby Alette. Joe and Samantha firmly believe that building a family with a foundation centered on Jesus Christ and his teachings are vital to a happy and loving home. They’ve raised their children to love God and serve those around them. Out of all the accomplishments Joe has achieved in life, being a dad is the one he’s by far most proud of. No success in this world, including job, money, or prestige, compensates for failure in the home.

After high school, at the age of 19 Joe decided to leave for a self-funded two year church mission and was assigned to serve in Mexico City, Mexico. While there, he brought the message of Jesus Christ to many people and performed many baptisms. He coordinated relief efforts to remote villages, oversaw projects with The Lion’s Club, taught English, and helped bring aid to  others in need. Having spent years in a different country, Joe understands how blessed we are to live in The United States with the freedoms that required so much sacrifice.
