Joe is a proud MAGA Republican. He firmly stands behind Trump’s America first agenda and is against fighting other nation's wars. We have never had a leader who has fought as hard for the American people as President Trump has, and he deserves a Congressman that's committed to his vision of America and what’s best for our country. THE ISSUES
HOLLYWOOD
For years, Hollywood has been sinister in it's targeting of families and children. Every show or movie is seemingly packed with a left wing agenda that it's becoming harder and harder to find something wholesome to watch. More worrisome is that the entertainment industry has started to insert LGBTQ content into movies and shows meant exclusively for children. Parents have little to no ability to know what movies or TV shows are safe for their children to watch.
Joe will be proposing legislation that will regulate the entertainment industry, protecting our children and youth from Hollywood's predatory influence. Any entertainment that can be reasonably accessed by children will be required to clearly disclose whether or not a film has certain content that could be harmful to children. This will include clearly listing things such as nudity, sexual content, vulgarity, violence and gore, and others, but very importantly any LGBTQ+ content. In addition, all streaming services like Youtube, Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+ and others will be required to implement the option for parents to select filters to hide all shows or movies that include that potentially harmful content, including LGBTQ+ content. This will allow parents to decide what is appropriate for their children to view while preventing the entertainment industry from secretly grooming our children.

FIGHT FOR CHRISTIANITY
Christians in America are under heavy assault. Christ is openly mocked in the media, on late night TV shows, on the global stage during the Olympics and with Satanists trying to display satanic statues and memorials in our government buildings. This is not okay and should not be tolerated by those who hold these things dear. The reluctance of openly advocating for Christianity from elected politicians is over. Joe Reid is a proud follower of Jesus Christ. It is upon Judeo-Christian values that a strong moral foundation for America should be built. A return to those values will open up the windows of Heaven to bless and prosper our country once again.
Joe Reid plans to organize prayers and Bible messages at the Capitol every week with Christian leaders from many denominations and congregations from Tennessee.
NO FOREIGN BORN MEMBERS OF CONGRESS
Joe Reid will lead the effort to pass a complete ban on foreign born persons, or the children of illegal immigrants from being eligible to run for Federal Office such as the US House and Senate. We cannot allow individuals from other countries to infiltrate our Federal Government where our national security and America First priorities are put at risk. There are a millions of good, America-loving immigrants in our country and they have plenty of civic opportunities in their local communities. However, we've seen enough anti-American rhetoric coming from our current foreign born members of Congress, with some recently publicly pledging loyalty to their home countries. The American people deserve representatives that put America's needs and security above all else. Through the Biden administration, the Radical Left has imported hundreds and thousands of fake asylum seekers in order to overrun and influence elections in many rural towns and states. Joe Reid demands more for America. Our Federal Government must be protected from the Radical Left's agenda.
END OF FOREIGN AID
Young families, Veterans, and the elderly on fixed incomes all across Tennessee and the nation have been crushed for years while we watch billions of dollars flowing oversees to aid foreign countries. Many of which hate America! Joe Reid has a large young family who has struggled alongside everyone due to Biden's record breaking inflation and supply chain disruptions. Joe will not stop fighting against bills that provide any free foreign aid to countries while we have Americans suffering from life altering national disasters or economic hardships.

FULLY DE-FUND PLANNED PARENTHOOD
President Trump has ended a major part of the federal funding to Planned Parenthood. This is what we voted for! Now we need to finish the job and completely end any further funding for Planned Parenthood through Medicaid reimbursements and Title X grants.
PRO LIFE
Joe believes that life begins at conception and every life is precious. Turning the issue back to the states was a fantastic first step however there is much more work to be done. The tragedy of abortion won't be solved only with votes in Congress, but publicly fighting for a principle that teaches voters in all states the importance of protecting our little ones in the womb. He is working close with Tennessee Right to Life to ensure Tennessee remains Pro Life while taking that battle to Washington.
INCREASE SOCIAL SECURITY
Social Security has not kept up with the rapid rise of the cost of living experienced under the Biden Administration. This needs to be corrected immediately. Joe Reid is committed to helping seniors who've paid into SS all their lives, receive what they so desperately need. He believes that Trump's America first agenda is a vital part of solving Social Security. Cutting waste fraud and abuse, balancing the trade deficits, bringing large foreign investments into America, and cutting stupid bureaucratic and environmental red tape will bring prosperity and wealth to our country. There has been a systemic mismanagement of Social Security for years and Joe demands there be a full accounting.
DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS
The Department of Veterans Affairs is a bloated bureaucracy costing us the lives of many Veterans. Veterans are being prevented from accessing outside care and being forced to stick with the VA system. This is all done to curb costs at the expense of those who've already sacrificed so much of their lives for our nation. Joe will assure they are given the treatment and respect they very much deserve. As American citizens, we need to stand behind those who have served our country. Joe will fight for bills that allow Veterans to receive Health Savings account options allowing them to choose primary care outside the VA or the ability to receive community care without the required VA approval. There are many possible solutions to this problem, and Veterans deserve members of Congress that will make this a top priority.
PROSECUTE THE DEEP STATE
President Trump has unmasked the anti-MAGA agenda within our federal agencies with individuals coordinating and conspiring against Trump and the American people.
As Trump said, "They're after you, I'm just standing in their way". Joe Reid will lead the effort and will fight to assure the individuals involved in covering up election fraud, colluding and manufacturing the Trump Russia hoax, and the unlawful targeting of Trump and his businesses are held accountable. Joe Reid commits and looks forward to seeing those individuals' careers end and justice be served behind bars.
VACCINE FREEDOM AND ACCOUNTABILITY
During COVID we witnessed an unprecedented and unconstitutional power grab from federal and local governments. Joe believes that vaccines are a deeply personal and private issue between a patient and their doctor. Whether or not someone takes, or does not take, a vaccine is of no concern to anyone, especially not the Government. Joe Reid is a fierce advocate for Vaccine Choice and privacy. Joe will fight to make vaccine status a part of your healthcare information protected by HIPAA.
Joe also believes strongly that the pharmaceutical companies that create and manufacture vaccines should be held liable for damages caused from their vaccines. Many politicians collude with the pharmaceutical industry with laws that keep them unaccountable for the damages their vaccines have caused. Doctors must also be held to a standard to inform and provide patients with the proper warning documentation before administering any vaccination. Disclaimers should be clearly provided to patients when a doctor prescribes or recommends any treatment, medication, or vaccine. Joe believes that the American people deserve full transparency so they can make informed decisions about their health.
SECOND AMENDMENT
Without our ability to bear arms, all other rights can be stripped away. The Second Amendment was a vital component to our founding fathers and our country's ability to escape tyranny. This freedom is being heavily threatened by The Left as well as moderate Republicans within our own party. We must not allow the Radical Left to leverage mental illness and tragedy to take away that right. The Second Amendment is non negotiable. Rather than limiting the second amendment, Joe believes in addressing the mental health crisis across our country head on.
Joe shares the desire to abolish the ATF.
ISRAEL
Israel's right to exist and defend itself should not be questioned. The US embassy should remain in Jerusalem and the US should always condemn acts of terror against the Israeli people. Joe feels strongly that Israel should reciprocate the loyalty that the United States shows them by vocally supporting the USA on the global stage, especially on issues that may put Israel at odds with America's foes. We should not be silent in supporting Israel and Israel should reciprocate in the same. Joe will always advocate for Israel's ability to purchase the military hardware needed to defend itself however he is against free foreign aid while Americans are suffering. Any financial support should operate as a guaranteed loan with weapons deals profiting American industries.
No matter how we feel about our allies, the American people must always come first.
PROTECT CHILDREN
Children have been the target of the Radical Left for years through woke corporate initiatives, social media, Hollywood, and Schools. The fight for our children has never been more urgent. Fighting the radical agenda will preserve parental rights and protections for our children.
Joe Reid believes it's also vital to pass legislation that prohibits anyone with a history of certain mental illnesses, abuse, or sex crimes of adopting or fostering children. Joe desires to pass legislation that allows the States the right to implement capital punishment for crimes against children.
FEDERAL INCOME TAX
In 1895 the Supreme Court ruled that Federal Income Tax was unconstitutional however in 1913 it was implemented via a constitutional amendment under the guise that only a small fraction of the population would pay and with a tax of only about 1%. Unfortunately this opened the doors for the tyrannical taxation we see today with nearly all Americans being required to pay tax rates up to 37%.
Joe wants to see Federal Income Tax eliminated and replaced with a flat sales tax on certain goods and services. Although a constitutional amendment is required to completely eliminate the Federal Income Tax, he will be fighting to reduce the Federal Tax burden on the American people.
GENDER IDEOLOGY
There is Male and Female, each uniquely created by God. Gender is not a social construct and is not open for individual interpretation. Joe will work to establish laws preserving the use of biological pronouns and eliminate schools or government from teaching or using pronouns that aren't based on an individual's biological sex. Gender affirming care should be for helping youth and children understand and appreciate who they are as a biological male or female.
Joe will pursue legislation that will clarify the scientific fact that only two biologic genders exist and will advocate strongly for mental heath care for individuals who deal with gender dysphoria. He will also go after states and organizations that are allowing men to compete in women's sports while protecting the America people from being targeted, canceled, or otherwise discriminated against for not subscribing to someone's gender delusion.
SANCTUARY CITIES
Joe Reid will pursue all available legislation to strip all federal funding to so called "Sanctuary Cities." Local elected officials need to be held personally accountable for their failure to protect American citizens from the crime, poverty, and dystopia that follows the enactment of Sanctuary City laws. These laws are designed to shield criminal aliens from federal enforcement of immigration laws all at the expense of their city and the American people who reside there. Sanctuary Cities must end.
BORDER SECURITY
During the Biden administration, over 70,000 Americans died each year from Fentanyl alone. These drugs have been pouring over our borders poisoning Americans, flooding cartels with money, and destroying lives. Democrats claimed border security couldn't be done, but Donald Trump proved all we needed was a strong leader. Joe Reid believes that it's well past time for Congress to act and implement laws that secure the border permanently. We need to protect and broaden the US Border Patrol's ability to apprehend illegal crossings from both Mexico and Canada. We need to finish the wall with more support and funding for the US Coast Guard to patrol our coastal waters, prevent drug smuggling, and provide additional assets for local law enforcement in border states. Our National Security is at risk when our border and coast are not secure.
ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS
Joe Reid supports the full deportation plan of the Trump administration and will not give in to the attempt by liberals to guilt politicians into giving asylum or leniency to illegal immigrants. He believes breaking the law should result in punishment as a key component to improving the lives and safety of American families. Any family who would like to remain together in cases of deportation can simply go with the deportee back to their home country. Anyone who enters the United States illegally accepts the risk of deportation when they take their first steps on American soil.
Joe believes that the laws of our country are all about mutual respect between citizens, allowing us to live, work, and prosper together. When foreign migrants decide to cross our border illegally, they are expressing outright disrespect for American citizens. Illegal immigrants are demonstrating that they care more about themselves than our country which is not in harmony with what JFK once said, "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country." If they cannot show respect for the most basic laws and come legally into our beloved country, they have no place here.
DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION
Joe believes that education should be governed by the States and not the Federal Government. He supports Trump's effort to eliminate the Department of Education.
